Overview

Here is an opportunity to visit two of Kenya’s most unique parks off the beaten path. Although Ol Pejeta is home to many predators, it also provides views of less well-known endangered species. Samburu is home to thousands of elephants as well as unusual species including Grevy’s zebra and Beisa onyx, as well as a wide variety of birds. Both are accessible from Nairobi and make for relaxing, comfortable safaris in Africa.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 72 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

What To Expect

Day 1: NAIROBI

On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will meet buke tours and safaris representatives. You will be transferred to The Ole-Sereni hotel in Nairobi Around 1030hrs depart for David Sheldrick, a haven for orphaned baby elephants and rhinos open from 1100hrs to 1200hrs. Return to the hotel for Lunch and in the afternoon depart for the giraffe centre where you will get to see the resident giraffes the highly endangered Rothschild giraffes In the evening go for a game drive in Nairobi national park in search of the big four buffalo, lion, leopard and the black rhino Get to experience an evening game drive and sundowner on your way out of the park Dinner and overnight at Ole-Sereni Hotel

Day 2: NAIROBI- OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY

Early breakfast and depart for Ol-pejeta conservancy Arrive in time for lunch at Hotel/lodge In the afternoon go to the sweet waters chimpanzee sanctuary offers refuge to orphaned and rescued chimpanzees In the evening go for a game drive in Ol-pejeta conservancy in search of the big five also get a chance to see the northern white rhino and also visit the rhino burial cemetery Get to experience an evening game drive and sundowner on your way out of the park Dinner and overnight at Hotel/lodge

Day 3: OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY – SAMBURU NATIONAL PARK

Have an early breakfast Depart for Samburu national park Arrive at camp/lodge in time for lunch Freshen up and relax Enjoy an evening game drive in the park Dinner and overnight at camp/lodge

Day 4: SAMBURU FULL DAY GAME DRIVE

Have an early breakfast Depart from the camp for a full-day game drive in the reserve Experience Samburu National Park’s spectacular scenic beauty, rivers and forest Go in such for the big five Watch the evening sundowner as you return to the lodge Bush dinner at camp/lodge

Day 5: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE TO NAIROBI

After breakfast depart to Nairobi Visit a Maasai cultural home on your way out, if your flight is at night our guide will be happy to take you on a city tour Our guide will transfer you to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your homebound flight
